When you heard the name Amos Tamam you may be surprised how this electrical engineer from Israel has changed the way we do things. Arriving in the United States in the early 1980's all he was looking for was an opportunity and once he got it he has not slowed down since. Starting out by servicing taxicabs in a fleet garage in New York City some 30 years later Amos Tamam is now the CEO of Verifone Corporation. The Verifone Corporation is a industry leader in providing technology to let taxicabs accept credit cards.

Giving the taxicab the ability to except credit cards has really changed the industry and made it much safer for cab drivers who now do not have to carry as much cash. Amos Tamam innovations can be felt everywhere in the Taxi industry from being able to accept credit cards to the taxi meter. He continues to work on innovations for the industry and do not be surprised if the next taxi you take has some of his innovations.

Dallas Wants To Move Ellis

Dallas Cowboys veteran outside linebacker Greg Ellis finally may get his wish to be traded or released by the club, as the Cowboys have reached out to at least two teams to measure interest in a deal, according to a club source.

Cowboys have approached the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals about a possible trade. Ellis has longtime ties to Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, who held the same position with the Cowboys. Ellis, 33, did not participate in Thursday's organized team activities session. If the Cowboys release him, which seems the most likely result, they'll save the $4.15 million he's scheduled to make in 2009.

Linus Gitahi Leading The Nation Media Group

Linus Gitahi knows that hard work is the foundation to getting things done and he is a prime example of that. Gitahi had a long and fruitful career for GlaxoSmithKline where he worked his way all the way up to CEO of the Lagos based GlaxoSmithKline West Africa. After that he left GlaxoSmithKline to join the Nation Media Group where he became the Chief Executive officer. Will He or Won't he Brett Everyone Wants To Know

It seems Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings story just will not end and Yahoo Sports who reporting Brett won't play may have to change that story. It all hings on his shoulder that he injured last year with the New york Jets. Favre's throwing arm appears to be a pivotal factor in whether he comes out of retirement to play for the Minnesota Vikings. A source close to the situation told ESPN's Jeremy Schaap on Friday that X-rays of Favre's right shoulder -- he has pain resulting from a torn biceps tendon -- have been sent to the Vikings and that the X-rays are in the process of being evaluated. If it is determined by Favre's and the Vikings' medical people that he needs anything less than "major" surgery on his shoulder, Favre will unretire to play for the Vikings, the source said.

Now I love Brett Favre, but this story is getting plain silly. I mean either say your going to play or just stay retired as many Viking fans want to know what is going on. No matter what happens everyone will still be on edge until something is finally decided.

Albert Haynesworth 100 Million Dollar Man

Albert Haynesworth was expecting a big payday and that is exactly what he got to the tune of 100 million dollars over seven years. Haynesworth who played for the Tennessee Titans and had a banner season this year wanted some big money and the Washington Redskins rolled the brinks truck up to him and signed him. We will have to see if Haynesworth lives up to his tag of the 100 million dollar man now.

The Washington Redskins also signed Deangelo Hall to a 54 million dollar deal. I guess there is no recession in Washington as Daniel Sndyer has never been afraid to spend the money. This should help make his defense one of the best in the league. They were good last year, but having these two for long term can only help them.

Michael Vick Gets House Arrest

With no room for Michael Vick at a halfway house he will be confined to his home and on house arrest for the rest of his sentence. he will wear an ankle monitoring bracelet so he can be tracked. he is not allowed to leave the home unless he gets permission from his probation officer.

For Vick I will bet he cannot wait until his July release day where once again he will be a free man. It will be interesting to see how much he has learned and what he has taken from his experience. He has a tough road ahead, but one he will probably embrace and give it his best shot. he has always been that way and I do not look for that to change anytime soon.
